Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026
Short version: We collect only what is necessary to run the app and keep your word list synced. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to process your subscription payment through Google Play.

1. Who we are

Jaggo is a vocabulary learning app for readers. References to "we", "our", or "us" in this policy refer to the individual developer who publishes Jaggo on Google Play. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at info@jaggo.cc.

2. What data we collect and why

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

3. Data we do NOT collect

4. AI-generated content

When you look up a word you encountered while reading, Jaggo may suggest a translation using an AI language model running on our server. These suggestions are generated automatically and may occasionally be incorrect.

You are always in control: suggestions are shown as options — you can edit or ignore them before saving. If you see a suggestion that is wrong or offensive, you can tap the flag icon next to "Suggestions" to report it. We review flagged suggestions to improve quality over time.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Jaggo offers an optional paid subscription sold through Google Play. All payment processing is handled by Google — we never see or store your credit card number or any payment instrument details.

When your purchase is verified, Google Play provides us with a purchase token and product identifier. We use these only to activate your subscription on our server. We do not share them with any other party.

6. How we store and protect your data

7. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or advertising networks. Error diagnostics (see section 2) are sent only to our own server.

8. Your rights and choices

9. Children's privacy

Jaggo is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
