Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026
Short version: We collect only what is necessary to run the app and keep your word list synced. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your personal information with third parties.

1. Who we are

Jaggo is a vocabulary learning app for readers. References to "we", "our", or "us" in this policy refer to the individual developer who publishes Jaggo on Google Play. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at .

2. What data we collect and why

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

3. Data we do NOT collect

4. AI-generated content

When you look up a word you encountered while reading, Jaggo may suggest a translation using an AI language model running on our server. These suggestions are generated automatically and may occasionally be incorrect.

You are always in control: suggestions are shown as options — you can edit or ignore them before saving. If you see a suggestion that is wrong or offensive, you can tap the flag icon next to "Suggestions" to report it. We review flagged suggestions to improve quality over time.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Jaggo is currently free and contains no in-app purchases. If we introduce an optional paid subscription in the future, payment processing will be handled entirely by Google Play — we will never see or store your credit card number or any payment instrument details — and this policy will be updated before any purchase feature is released.

6. How we store and protect your data

7. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or advertising networks. Error diagnostics (see section 2) are sent only to our own server.

8. Your rights and choices

How to delete your Jaggo account and data

Open the app, then go to Menu → Account → Delete account, and confirm.

This immediately and permanently deletes your email address, saved word list, app settings, and lesson history from our live database — it cannot be undone. We do not retain this data beyond that point, except for routine backups kept by our hosting provider; those are cycled out automatically on their normal rotation schedule and are never used to restore a deleted account.

9. Children's privacy

Jaggo is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
